Here at Silver Summit we are proud of the work we do for our clients. Here is a portfolio of work we have recently completed.

Websites We have completed Flash Based Projects Graphics

Gone Fly Fishin Website
Gone Fly Fishin Web Photo

This is a website I designed for a Fly Fishing company. I created an online store using PHP and MySQL. There is also a section that viewers can post river reports from previous fishing trips.

This has been the most code heavy site with lots of hours used up working with PHP to allow viewers to input information all over the website.

FunnyFest Website
FunnyFest Web Image

FunnyFest is an annual comedy festival based out of Calgary, Alberta. This was one of the first websites that Silver Summit worked on and is very pleased with the results.

This site required a lot of graphic work as well as form creation.

Sun and Straw
SunandStraw Web Photo

This project was fun to work on as I learned a lot about straw bale housing and energy saving, which is what this site is all about.

He wanted a natural looking site, and I think we achieved it with the sky blue and clouds as a background. There was a lot of drawing, including 3D models, involved with this site. A great learning experience indeed.

Green Foundation Site
Green Foundation Web Photo

This website focused on living environmentally friendly and working with nature to create affordable housing.

A lot of 3D models were needed to show off plans for a small house called a "Terapod." It was very interesting working with this client as he had many excellent ideas for the website.

Green Foundation Site

This website I created for a recycling company. All he wanted was a simply website that outlines what he does and how he does it. This site was fairly quick to create and the client was very happy with the finished product.

Forest Stewardship
Forest Stewardship

This is a flash based online learning environment. I created it for a forestry company called WOLF. It was created completely in Flash with a little bit of design work done in Photoshop. I was given the curriculum in PDF format and had to completely convert it into flash and sync up the information with a narraration.

I am very proud of this project.

Interactive Map
Flash Interactive Map

This is a Flash based interactive map of Southern Alberta. This was a very Actionscript heavy project with a lot of user controllable elements.

This was the first big flash based project we have done and it turned out very well. A friend of mine worked mainly on graphics while I did all the Actionscript.

Interactive Map
Flash Interactive Map

This is an Flash based Stock Marketing Game. The idea is that you buy certain stocks from certain companies and the day goes by and the stocks go up and down throughout. You can then sell them off of buy more and continue to the next day. It is quite addicting once you get the hang of it.

This was done completely with Actionscript 2.0

Copy a CD
Media Player

This is an interactive tutorial on copying a CD using Windows Media Player. This was completely created using Flash and Actionscripting. It walks you through copying the CD then lets you try it out. I think Flash has huge potential as far as interactive tutorials go, there is so much you can do with the program.

Posters
Halloween Party Open House

These are two posters created for the Northern Lakes College. They include a Halloween and Open House Party invitation. They were both created in Adobe Illustrator.

Square Scene
Square Scene Thumb

This is a wallpaper I designed that is only made with squares. I came up with the idea one night when I couldn't sleep and thought it would be cool to make a tree out of squares. After I finished the tree I went and made the rest of the scene.

All done in Illustrator

Catapult
Catapult

This is a 3D model I created of a catapult. This was a working model with moving gears and throwing arm. I later used this in a 3D movie that was about bowling with the catapult. I really like how the wood look turned out on the frame of the catapult.

3D House
3D Picture 1

This is a 3D model I created of a small house for one of my website clients. It is a self sustaining house meant to be built out in the middle of the woods with minimal resources. I really enjoyed drawing this and seeing the look on my clients face when he saw it. He was really amazed by it and really liked it.

Experience
Lakewood

This is a website I helped a teacher from this school create. I walked her through almost all the steps of creating a website. We built this using Dreamweaver.

I am happy to say that she has learned a lot about the program and is now very capable of updating the site on her own.

CRDC

For my practicum at the Lethbridge Community College I worked in the Curriculum Re-Development Center. It is a center in the University of Lethbridge that helps teachers integrate technology into their classrooms.

I worked a lot with video; filming and editing classes for students who needed to review the subject later or needed to give a self assessment. We also did a lot of graphical work creating powerpoints of teacher notes which the students can access online. I learned a lot about integrating technology and how it can help teachers and students alike.
